Check it with Boring

Paste a claim, a headline or a link you saw somewhere else. Boring says how the outlets it reads covered it: who reported it, left, center and right, what they agree on and where they differ. It never says whether a claim is true.

How a check works

  • Boring searches its own stories from the last 30 days first, then the websites of the outlets it reads.
  • For a link, it reads only the page’s headline and description.
  • Every line names the outlets it comes from. A separate AI check removes any line its sources don’t support.
  • Political leanings come from independent ratings, never from AI.
  • If Boring finds no coverage, it says so. That says nothing about whether a claim is true.
  • What you paste and the answer are not stored.
